As our name indicates we are a federation of outdoor clubs representing most regions of BC. Membership spans all age ranges although we are predominately adult oriented. Any individual can join the FMCBC and any club can join the FMCBC upon approval of the Board

of Directors. There are no specified criteria for admit-

tance other than supporting the FMCBC mission.

Join one of our many member clubs and a portion of your annual club fees supports the FMCBC. Among the advantages of joining a member club are:

• Scheduled hikes and trips, with experienced leaders to share outdoor adventures and social events

• Skilled club members who can offer expertise in selecting equipment, planning trips, and skill development

• Third party liability insurance (not all clubs participate in this program - please ask club representatives)

• The Cloudburst newsletter

• Meeting other people who want to protect our
  wilderness heritage and access to non-motorized
  recreational opportunities
